Conscious Menopause
A two-day workshop for women between 40 and 70 years of age.

Menopause is a defined as being one year after the last menstruation, although a woman’s process will usually span several years. The time of shifting cycles is known as peri-menopause and once the menstrual cycle has ceased, each woman then needs time to adapt to the hormonal shifts that have taken place. Whilst change is happening on a physiological level, menopause touches all levels of our being and is often a potent time of re-negotiating relationships and responsibilities and ultimately re-defining the way we move through life and show up in the world.
Much like birth, this natural rite of passage has been pathologised leaving women confused about this natural process, unsupported and overwhelmed by a deluge of misleading information and ultimately feeling unable to trust their bodies.
Wherever you are in your menopause journey, if you are a woman between 40 and 70 years of age and are wondering what’s happening, what happened or what’s going to happen then this workshop is for you. Over two days we will explore a range of tools to deepen understanding of this powerful mid-life transition. Including…
• Understanding the cultural context. Why does it feel so hard?
• What’s going on with the body? Holistic wellbeing and self-care
• Movement, stillness, deep nourishment and rest
• Self-enquiry and journaling
• Ritual and time in circle
• Embodied processes and journeying
