Castor Oil Treatment
Supporting the natural healing process
Castor oil is unique in its capacity to both eliminate and nourish at the same time. Treatments combine the application of a castor oil pack with loving touch, holding and deep relaxation to support the body’s natural healing process.
Castor oil packs can be used in a variety of situations including;
- During a cleanse to stimulate the liver and help invigorate the natural detoxification and elimination processes
- To stimulate lymphatic flow, increase white blood cells and boost the immune system
- Bring more ease when there is digestive or menstrual discomfort
- Reducing local or overall systemic inflammation
- To bring nourishment and nurturing when there is an general sense of depletion
Other than during pregnancy, there are very few situations where topical use of castor oil is contraindicated. Before applying the pack to the body I ask some questions so I am clear on the intention of the treatment. While the pack is in place there is then the opportunity to receive massage to either the face, head and neck or feet, depending on your needs.
The pack is in place for a minimum of one hour during which time I invite deep relaxation and healing. Castor oil packs can be re-used multiple times, so after the treatment you’ll leave with your own pack and also the method so you are able to continue at home integrating castor oil packs into your own self-care routine. It may be that in some instances I recommend re-using the pack for several consecutive days after the treatment.
Each treatment lasts 90 minutes and costs 50€. After the treatment you will be able to take the castor oil pack away with you to be re-used at home as part of your own self-care routine.
